November Club Project - Christmas Cards

Next month’s Creative Club project will be three fun Christmas Cards. They all use the new Jingle Level 2 Papers and Jingle Creative Basics Collection. And of course, what would Christmas be without a little Prisma Glitter?

I love the rolling hills on this card. I used the back side of the patterned gift paper for the hills. (If you look closely, you can see the wrapped presents in the grass. LOL!)
This next card was inspired by my sweet and very creative friend Bren. I got one just like it in a swap from her and knew right away that it simply must be duplicated. LOL! (Thanks Bren!)
This is a fairly simple card that can be duplicated quickly. I love the sentiment. The inside says “than to have everything you want before you open the gifts.”My Creative Club meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7pm at my house, however, you do not need to be local to be part of the club. My long distance members get their kits mailed to them and any orders they place, get drop shipped to them directly from the Close to my Heart office. (Sometimes they even get their orders before the local gals!) Next month's club is on Wednesday, November 11th. If you would like to attend or order a kit, please contact me no later than November 3rd so that I have enough time to order the supplies and prepare your kit(s).

Click here for more details on this super fun club! Contact me at lisa@myctmh.com for more information, to sign up for next month’s class, or to order your own club kit(s).

Cupcake Cards and Box

A couple of days ago Vicki Wizniuk created the cutest card box and asked a few CTMH Consultants to test out her tutorial. I happily volunteered and this is what I came up with. The colors and paper may look familiar because I used them to make my Cupcake in a Box project for the Operation Smile Auction in July. The polka dot paper is from one of my all time favorite paper packets called Silhouette. (I hope this paper never retires!) I used my scallop scissors on some Hollyhock cardstock as a mat. The cupcakes are from another one of my favorites, Cupcake Sprinkles. The cards are pretty basic, but sometimes that is better so you can reproduce them quickly.
Here is the box with the cards and envelopes inside.
Here is the box empty.Hop on over to Vicki's blog to check out her tutorial and make one of these fun boxes yourself. Thanks Vicki! *Ü*

All supplies are from CTMH unless otherwise noted:
Stamps: Cupcake Sprinkles, Happy Birthday, Friendship Alphabet (retired)

Button Ornaments Christmas Card

So, what do you think about the Twitterpated Kit of the month? (See post below.) I made this card using the exclusive stamp set that comes in the kit. I used it to make the branches, leaves, and berries. The string came from the Holiday Trinkets stamp set and the sentiment is from Card Chatter - Christmas. The buttons are from the Holiday Craft Buttons Pack. I put a little Waxy Flax through the middle and then glued them on with Glue Dots. The inside of the card says “it’s greatest gifts are family and friends.” This was an easy peasy card that was pretty quick to make. (Gotta love those.)
This is what the stamp set looks like. Cute, huh? If you are interested in ordering the Twitterpated Kit, you can either click here to order online using Item # G1000 or contact me and I can order it for you. (Thanks Jill for the correct item #. *Ü*)
All supplies are from CTMH unless otherwise noted.
Paper: White Daisy and Cranberry Cardstock
Stamps: Hello There (only available in the Twitterpated Kit), Card Chatter - Christmas, Holiday Trinkets
Inks: Cranberry, Chocolate, Cocoa, Olive
Other: Holiday Buttons, Waxy Flax, Foam Tool
