Ever have one of those days?

Have you ever had one of those days when anything that can go wrong goes wrong? Well, I had one of those days today. I will spare you all of the details, but the cherry on top of the day was when I locked my keys in the car at our community clubhouse. I didn't realize it until after my son's swim lesson when we were ready to go home. I called AAA to come and help me unlock the car. After TWO HOURS and three phone calls, it turns out that they couldn't find the club house and neglected to call me on my cell phone to let me know. Let me just say that the 100 degree weather and my tired, potty-training, two-year-old daughter didn't help my frustration. (We went though both sets of back-up clothes and panties within those two hours. She ended up wearing a swim diaper home!) My son was a trooper even though he asked me numerous times why I locked the keys in the car. Ummmm...because your Mommy's brain is not fully functioning today??? I don't know. We managed to get a ride home from the sweet lady at the front desk. She was soooo kind! (I did call AAA when I got home to give them a piece of my mind though.)

Anyhoo, here is a little 3x3 card that I made a while ago. I thought I should post something uplifting and happy like this little "enjoy" card seeing as I did NOT enjoy my day. Now that I am about to head off to bed at an early 8:30pm, I am ready to enjoy a good night's sleep. That's for sure. LOL!

My good friend Christine saw this card a while back when I made it and she created the CUTEST little tea bag holder using the same design. You can check it out here. I like her project much better than mine! But then again, everything she creates is AMAZING! *Ü*

Well, I am off to bed. I am so thankful for my hubby who is helping get the kiddos in bed tonight. I will surely be asleep before them! LOL! Thanks for listening to (or reading I should say) my venting tonight. Nighty-night...

  4. Ugh-So sorry you had to endure such a yucky experience. AAA was NOT on the ball! One thing I did is have triple A make me a plastic credit card size key (they do this for free) If you have two made, you can keep one in your wallet and tape one under your car in a no one but you can find it place using that grey duct tape. Saved me during one on those, I did not just lock my keys in the car moments. It happens to all of us. And this too shall pass...hoping you got a good nights sleep! Thanks for the cute card idea!

  8. Oh Lisa! I'm so sorry about your day. I'm glad there was someone there to finally help you (from the clubhouse). I was let down by AAA last year this time - worst 3 hours of my life to date. I did survive it but I don't feel the same about them and probably never will.

Ok. On to a happier subject - your card is very, very pretty. It is like you to release your tension into a beautiful creation of art. I'm so grateful you can do that!
