Treasure Life Card

Have you ever seen a piece of clothing and thought, "That would make a cute card?" Well, I bought this shirt a few months ago and have been wondering how I could make a card that looks like it. When I received CTMH's September Stamp of the Month, I knew that it was the perfect stamp set to help me create a card to match my shirt. LOL!
Here is what I came up with. I used CTMH's Cocoa and Crystal Blue cardstock along with White, Crystal Blue (retired), and Seafoam (retired) Embossing Powder. (The blue and green flowers look a little faded in the photo. They are actually much more vibrant in real life.) The card is simple, but I kind of like the way it turned out. I may make a few more using different flowers from the set. I think this may be one of my favorite stamp sets of all time!

  1. Thanks for the comment you left on my blog. It's great to have you "around" again. I know you've been busy. About the inspiration, it's hard to believe I inspire you. Your card is breathtaking. I love the colors. You are SO creative, and yes, you inspire me, too! TFS.

  2. Lisa, this is awesome! It is funny how I see home decor and clothing as potential card or scrapbook patterns. I was sitting by people at convention and naming stamp sets their shirt and purses looked like.

Love your card! It is one of my new favorite sets too.

  3. Just BEAUTIFUL!!! I adore those colors!!! You are SO very talented!

  4. WOW! What a fantastic interpretation of the clothing! LOVE the card!

I'll add to the lovefest and say once inspire me so much! I just wish I could ACT on the inspiration right now. Alas my bum ankle is making me wait impatiently...but I'm gathering LOTS of inspiration for when I can venture out to my craft room again. Ü

    Thanks so much for sharing!

  5. Wow, this is an absolutely beautiful card! I see things all the time, whether it be color combo or design, that I think would make a great card.
