Art Philosophy Princess Lucy Tag

Hi everyone. You may have noticed that I have been MIA again. I am so sorry. I have a bunch of super fun (secret) projects that I am working on that I can’t share with you just yet. In the meantime, I thought I’d share a sweet little tag I made using the new Lucy Collection, Glitter Rub-Ons and CTMH’s awesome Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.

I started out by using one of the many tag shapes from the Art Philosophy cartridge in Cricut Craft Room. I added one of the many border shapes to the bottom of the tag. (In Craft Room, you can weld images together which I think is super cool!) Then I cut out the tag from a piece of Lucy patterned cardstock. I then cut out the leaves and the flowers using another piece of Lucy cardstock using the AP cartridge as well. This time I didn’t use Craft Room since I didn’t need to weld any images together. I layered the flowers on top of each other using some 3-D Foam Tape in between each layer to give it some dimension. I added a large Sparkle to the center and adhered it to the tag. Then I cut a banner shape, also using the AP cartridge, and stamped the word “princess” on it from the Princess Wings stamp set. I added a piece of Sweet Leaf Stitched Ribbon behind it and added it to the tag.

I added one of the adorable butterflies and the border at the bottom from the Lucy Glitter Rub-Ons. Finally, I inked some of our new Color Ready Seam Binding Ribbon with some Blush ink and added it to the top. (I LOVE that stuff!) This little tag is now ready to go on a gift for a little princess.

  1. Such a sweet tag. I need to make a bunch of these to have on hand when giving gifts to my 5 sweet granddaughters! They are each a princess in my eyes. Thanks for the inspiration.
