H2H Home Decor Challenge - Wedding Frame

This week the Heart 2 Heart Challenge Blog is hosting a “From Your Heart to Ours” challenge. The challenge is to share a Home Decor item. I wanted to share this picture frame that I made using the new Bliss paper packet, Level 2 Assortment, and Irresistibles Villa Die Cuts.

I started with a $1 wooden frame from Michaels. I painted the edges with the white acrylic paint from our Distressing Kit mixed with some Heavenly Blue and Chocolate Re-inkers. Then I covered the frame with two different patterns from the Bliss paper packet. After sponging some Chocolate ink around the edges, I covered the seam with some Cocoa Ribbon. I sponged some Chocolate ink onto one of the Irresistible Die Cuts before adding it to the frame. (I love the Irresistibles because you can make them any color you like. Just sponge some ink on top and the pre-printed pattern pops and you have an instant embellishment to match any project.) I added a couple of butterflies and a flower from the Bliss Assortment Pack and was done.

The photo inside is of my hubby and me on our wedding day 10 years ago. *Ü*

Head on over to the H2H blog to see what the rest of the design team created for this fun challenge. They designed some projects that are sure to spark your creativity.

Now we’d love to see how you’ve used Close to my Heart products to make an item to decorate your home. Be sure to link it to the H2H blog for your chance to win some great prizes and maybe even be chosen as a Guest Designer next month!
