Cards Can Make a Difference

A few months ago the MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group that I was a part of made a bunch of cards that would be sent to military families. The cards were meant for the children of those who are deployed to use whenever they missed their deployed Mommy or Daddy. Most of you who read my blog have a passion for making cards like I do. Who would have thought that using our God-given passion could touch others in such a big way?

Click here to see a short video about how cards can make a difference in a military family's life. Grab a tissue and take a look...

ETA: Leslie sent me some great information on a group called Cards for Heroes. Click here to see a video about their organization! (Thanks Leslie!)

  1. You were right we need tissues to watch this. I sent 64 cards to a group called Card for Heroes a few weeks ago. http://cardsforheroes.org/
There are several women around the US that gather, sort, pack and ship cards to our military. Check out their website.
